Apple and kiwi crumble recipe

There’s nothing quite like a delicious crumble to warm you up on a cool day, and we love how this recipe from Magimix adds fresh kiwi for a remarkable burst of flavour.

So tasty and warming, it’s incredible served with your favourite ice cream.

Prep time: 20 minutes + cooking time

​Ingredients

  • 3 kiwis, peeled & sliced

  • 4 apples, peeled & sliced

  • 100g butter

  • 80g caster sugar

  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 100g plain flour


Preparation


  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a dish with butter.

  2. Prepare the fruit, then put all the apple slices and half the kiwi slices in the dish.

  3. Blend the remaining kiwi slices, then pour this mix on top of the fruit slices.

  4. In a large bowl, rub together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.

  5. Add a layer of this crumble on top of the fruit.

  6. Put the dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.

  7. Serve hot with your favourite vanilla ice cream.

Tips

To store: We recommend eating this crumble straight away. But, if you cover the dish once the crumble is cool, you can keep it in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Vegan: To make this dish vegan, we recommend using vegan-friendly butter.
