Cinnamon roasted squash recipe

Full of cosy flavours in the cinnamon and maple syrup, they’ll barely notice that you’re sneaking a load of veg in there!



The perfect treat for an after-school snack, it’s full of natural goodness while satisfying their sweet tooth - it’s a win-win!



Overview: 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 45 minutes

Serves: 4 people


Ingredients: 

1 small squash, peeled & chopped

2 tsp oil

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 220℃.

  2. Put the squash on a baking tray, drizzle with oil and toss well so every piece is covered.

  3. Put in the oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until tender.

  4. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with cinnamon, add maple syrup, and toss well so every piece is coated.

  5. Put the tray back in the oven and bake for another 5 minutes.


Storage tips 

We recommend eating this squash straight away.
