Nutritional content

Servings: 6 pieces

Prep time: 10 minutes + freezing time

Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger, around 25g but can be adjusted to your taste

  • Fresh turmeric, around 25g but can be adjusted to your taste

  • 2 lemons

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  1. Start by preparing your ingredients. Leave the peel on your ginger and turmeric, then chop them into smaller pieces.

  2. Chop the lemons into slices. You can leave the skin on, or chop some of it off - the peel can make the bombs a little chunky, so it depends which texture you would prefer.

  3. Put all the ingredients in a blender.

  4. Blend until it becomes as smooth as possible. The mixture should be quite thick.

  5. Pour the mixture into ice cube moulds, then freeze overnight.

  6. When you’re ready for a drink, put one of these immunity bombs into a mug with boiling water, and enjoy.

Tips

To store: Once they’re ready, keep these immunity bombs in the freezer for up to one month.
