Pear and apple crisps recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, halved & cored

  • 2 apples, halved & cored

  • 45g rolled oats

  • 60g whole wheat flour

  • 50g turbinado sugar (raw sugar) or honey

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ginger

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tbsp + 2 tsp butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt

  • 2 tsp maple syrup


Preparation


  1. Preheat your oven to 200℃ and grease a baking tin.

  2. Prepare your fruit.

  3. Put the oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, butter, yoghurt and syrup in a bowl. Mix well.

  4. Take 2 tablespoons of this dough mixture and put it on a piece of fruit. Use your hands to pat it down.

  5. Continue until all fruit halves are topped with dough.

  6. Put the fruit pieces on your greased tin and bake for 25 minutes, until the topping starts to turn golden.


Tips

To store: We recommend eating these fruit crisps straight away.

Vegan: To make this dish vegan, we recommend using vegan-friendly butter and yoghurt.
