Super quick stir fry recipes

The perfect midweek side dish, this stir fry recipe from BBC Good Food uses up lots of healthy, fresh veg, and it only takes 10 minutes to prepare!

Great alongside grilled chicken or fish, or even paired with a good portion of noodles, it’ll make a seriously tasty addition to dinner.

Ingredients

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 chilli, sliced

1 clove garlic, sliced

500g mixed veg, such as pak choi, mushrooms and broccoli

1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce




Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan, then fry the chilli and garlic for 1 minute.

  2. Add the vegetables and coat them in the oil mixture. Fry for around 3 minutes.

  3. Add the soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce, and mix everything together. Then cook everything for another 3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Serve while hot.


Tips

To store: Once the vegetables are fully cool, put them in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Leftover tips: Try adding noodles - or grilled fish or chicken - to create a delicious main course. .
