Vegan breakfast bowl recipe


Get your day off to a great start with this tasty vegan breakfast bowl full of fresh fruits.


Not only does it offer a good balance of carbohydrates, fiber and vitamins, but it also contains walnuts, chia seeds and hemp seeds which provide omega-3 fatty acids that can sometimes be missing in a vegan diet.



A delicious, filling and refreshing breakfast, you can customise this recipe with any toppings and fruits you like. Enjoy!

Cook time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2 people


Ingredients: 

100g rolled oats

400ml plant-based milk

1 tbsp chia seeds

125g strawberries, sliced

3 clementines, peeled & segmented

1 apple, diced

1 banana, sliced

100g grapes, halved

2 tbsp walnuts, chopped

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp maple syrup


Instructions:

  1. Put the oats and milk in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat, stirring often.

  2. Take the pan off the heat once the oats are cooked and have a creamy consistency.

  3. Stir in the chia seeds and let the mixture rest for a few minutes to thicken.

  4. Serve the oat mixture into two bowls then add your fruits on top.

  5. Sprinkle with nuts and seeds, then drizzle syrup over the top.
