A go-to recipe for autumn, this healthy dish combines your favourite fall flavours for an amazing way to start the day.
Using flavourful pomegranate seeds to complement the sweetness of the other fruits, it’s a breakfast that’s full of vitamins and nutrients. We love the crunch from the nuts, too!
Incredibly quick to make, you can even add chia seeds or coconut flakes to make it into a delicious mid-morning snack or super satisfying dessert.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2 people
1 apple, cored & diced
5 dates, pitted & chopped
1 pear, diced
2 bananas, sliced
80g pomegranate seeds
100g Greek yogurt
2 tbsp honey
40g chopped nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, pecans)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Wash the fruit then chop into bite-sized pieces.
Add all the fruit to a mixing bowl with the pomegranate seeds.
Add the yogurt, honey, mixed nuts and cinnamon, then toss until everything is well combined.
Serve immediately with a garnish of mint leaves, if you like.
For a vegan-friendly version, choose a dairy-free yogurt and opt for maple syrup instead of honey.
