Simple pomelo and mango salad recipe


Never used pomelo before? With a taste that's similar to a sweet, mild grapefruit, it’s such a versatile ingredient.

Ready in only 5 minutes, this dish is the perfect combination of sweet and sour thanks to the mango, pomelo and vinegar. Finished with salad leaves of your choice, you can’t go wrong here.



Overview: 

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2 people


Ingredients: 

1 mango, peeled & cubed

3 pomelo segments

Salad leaves

Olive oil

Vinegar (we recommend white wine vinegar)

Salt, to taste


Instructions:

  1. Prepare your fruit and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar and salt.

  3. Put the salad leaves in a large serving bowl.

  4. Add your fruit to the salad leaves.

  5. Drizzle with your homemade dressing.

  6. Toss everything until well combined, then serve.
